As Team Canada's Juniors get set to take on the big bad Russians for the coveted Gold Medal at the World Junior Hockey Championships, our friend Dave Sanford has shared a prayer:
Our Father who art in Buffalo, hockey be thy name. Thy will be done. The gold will be won. On the ice, as well as in the stands. Give us this day our hockey sticks, and forgive us our penalties, as we forgive those who cross-check against us. And lead us not into elimination, but deliver us to victory. In the name of the fans, Gold Medal, and in the name of Team Canada. Amen!Go Canada Go!
